The Marib Dam, also known as the Great Dam of Ma'rib, is an ancient engineering marvel located in present-day Yemen. Its earliest parts date to the bronze age, though it was mostly built during the early iron age. When it was built it was one of the greatest dams built in human history until its destruction in the late 6th century AD. Today, the ruins of the Marib Dam stand as a testament to ancient ingenuity and are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. And this video is about this dam!
