But is the walk really worth it? Let’s cross this massive steel bridge together and find out! Today I’m visiting the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge in Sydney, Australia. In this video, I’ll be walking around the bridge and crossing over to the other side of the city while enjoying some of the most breathtaking views in Sydney. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the largest steel arch bridges in the world and is often called “The Coathanger” because of its unique shape. Opened in 1932, this massive structure connects the Sydney CBD with the North Shore and plays a vital role in the city’s transport system. From the top pedestrian walkway, you can enjoy incredible panoramic views of: 🌉 Sydney Harbour 🏙️ Sydney skyline 🎭 Sydney Opera House 🚢 Cruise ships & waterfront scenery The bridge carries road traffic, railway lines, pedestrian pathways, and cycle tracks, making it one of the busiest and most important landmarks in Australia. On one side of the bridge, you’ll also find Milsons Point railway station, making it easily accessible for visitors. Before walking up, I explored underneath the bridge to see its enormous steel structure from below — and from there, I found the pedestrian pathway leading to the top. The entire walkway is well maintained, safe, and structured for visitors and locals alike. Walking across the Harbour Bridge truly gives you a new perspective of Sydney — the size, the engineering, and the beauty of the harbour are absolutely impressive.
