A great series exploring a social, cultural, political or personal issue has the power of telling a story in a unique, convincing and visually compelling way. Natan Dvir lived in Israel for most of his life before moving to New York 8 years ago and has worked for the past 14 years as a photojournalist and documentary artist represented by Polaris Images agency and Anastasia Photo gallery. In this event Natan presents his award winning series “Belief” and “Coming Soon” and unveiled the series “ Platforms" which he has photographed in New York during the last three years. Natan reviews the images in the projects and explores the various aspects of conceptualizing, researching, photographing in the field, editing, and sequencing a series. Natan shares his working process and discusses various strategies to photographing complex compositions and working under low light conditions.
