Welcome to FreeCAD Course 1: Pipe With Flange | 1.2 Flange by AllVisuals4U! In this beginner video course i show you how to create a flange from the start. You can model a flange in several ways. Both methods use the 'Pad' (Extrude) feature. After extruding the round shape, you can add one hole with a new sketch on top of the flange. You extrude the hole and then you can use the 'Polar Pattern' feature to create multiple holes. The second method is creating the holes directly into the first sketch. Sketch the holes (circles) on a construction circle to create a polar pattern manually. Then extrude that shape and you created the flange with holes at once. The first method is my favorite way to create holes. It's quicker. This course (1.2) is provided with step by step explanations.
