He also tries to propose to her but when he reaches her house he sees her promise to her mother that she will get married to someone else and this brokes his heart and he starts to avoid her. In the end, the real truth comes out in front of Karthik's father through Meghana's principle that she is not Siri and her name is Meghana and How the couple becomes real-life partners after sorting out all the odds forms the rest of the story.
