If you are able to visit Bok Tower Gardens I highly recommend making the drive. Pack a pick-nick lunch or eat at the cafe on site but plan on meandering and letting time stand still for a few hours. It is inspiring to read about the life of the man behind the destination. Edward Bok lived an intriguing life and he held tight to the words of his grandmother as he left The Netherlands as a young child. His grandmother said, "Make you the world a bit better or more beautiful because you lived in it." What strong and insightful words to speak over a young child that you love.
