Khao Takiab mountain, better known as "Monkey Mountain", is a famous mountain overlooking the beaches of Hua Hin, Thailand. There are thousands of monkeys that live at the mountain and in the area, and they love to hang out at the base of Wat Khao Lad temple during the day. If you want to feed them, they sell bananas, corn and peanuts at a small shop near the temple. If you walk around with food and drinks in your hands then you are just asking for trouble.The monkeys are extremely curious and pretty daring at times. They are even known to grab food right out of peoples hands and climb all over you. Of course, I had to check this place out! And, I'm happy I did.
