Akaso Brave 7 LE External Microphone and Microphone Testing. Akaso sent me their specific USB C external microphone adapter cable, I did pay shipping. And they included a wireless microphone set, with one transmitter and a receiver that has 3 different connections. Tested the internal microphone first. Then went to the settings on the camera and chose the EXTERNAL microphone option. I connected the Akaso wired microphone and did a quick test. It is very picky about where it is placed for you voice to sound good. Next, connected the Akaso special USB C to TRRS female cable, and plugged in the Akaso source wireless microphone receiver, and paired the transmitter. I really think it sounds pretty good honestly. I have no idea of the manufacturer though, nor do I know what it's maximum distance or how long they last on a single charge. Next, I connected the cheap copy of a Rhode or Movo style action camera microphone. It did NOT work at all with this cable, and I'm not sure why. This same microphone sounds weird on my Samsung phone, but sounds really nice on my Gopro Hero 9 Black camera. Lastly, I connected the receiver for the Maono Wave T5 wireless mic set up to the Akaso cable, and paired both microphones. I've tested this et out to 500 feet, they are rated to over 1000 feet. And should last at least 6 hours per charge! They do seem to have more active gain, and are louder. I did NOT make any audio adjustments for the video. Thanks for watching.
