Gilbern is NOT the only Welsh car manufacturer, but it is the best know. With good reason! The MK3 (this one from 1973) was a cut above the competition and was the only Gilbern sold only in fully finished form. Note - around 1000 Gilberns were made, not 400. Not sure why I got that so wrong! With a Ford Essex V6 engine, a mixture of Ford and Gilbern suspension and a top quality fibreglass body, what is this Welsh legend actually like to drive?
