Days out from Souter Lighthouse visiting Cragside - Tynemouth - Newcastle & Housesteads Roman Fort

A second look at our January trip to the North East of England with a few glimpses of our wanderings. First we visit the Cragside Estate, a Victorian Home and garden. This was the worlds first home to be illuminated by Hydro Electric power. We next take a ride to Tynemouth as its name implies at the mouth of the river Tyne. A walk from the city centre to the quayside in Newcastle is next. The glass covered Sage concert hall catches the sun on the Gateshead side of the river.
