#food #cooking #onion #onionbajar Lentil Onion Bhajee 200g Red Lentils 380 0nion 19g Fresh Coriander 3g Kashmiri Chilli 10g salt 2g Whole Cumin 3g Onion seed 2g Fennel Seed 5g Coriander powder 2.5g Turmeric 1) Wash and Soak Red Lentils overnight in water 2) Slice Onions 3-4mm place in a bowel and add all the spices and mix well and leave aside for 30 minutes. 3) Blend lentils adding only 1/3 tablespoons of water to help mix to a smooth paste. 4) Place lentils in a bowel and mix with a hand whisk or and food mixer with a whisk attachment until mixture become a meringue consistency. 5) Fold in the lentil mixture with the onion mixture 6) In a deep frying pan heat oil to 160 degrees and using two spoons create littles ball and drop in to the oil. 7) Gently fry the bhajee until golden, remove and place on kitchen towel to cool, serve hot with a dip.
