Wat Chedi Luang, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, had been undergoing repairs for some time and now that they are complete I took the opportunity to visit and spend some quiet time. _________________________________________ I have retired and currently live in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on a Non Immigrant OA (Retirement) Visa using it as a base to travel and explore SE Asia. The videos I upload are a record of my retired life in Chiang Mai and travels. I publish a video ever Thursday (Thai Time). Thanks for Watching _________________________________________ THE GEAR For me the important things about creating these videos is that they are a simple representation of my life. So no complex gear! No drones, or large amounts of gear to lug around, just point and shoot as much as possible. But for those who are interested in this sort of thing, here is a description of the gear I am using: As of mid November 2025 I am filming with a DJI Pocket 3 camera (Creator Combo)and using a DJI Mic2 or DJI Mini Mic to capture sound. I still have and use the GoPro 9 with a media mod that I filmed series 3-5 and most of series 6 on. I use the GoPro as a backup or when I think I will need a more robust or waterproof camera. I mostly film hand held but have one or two simple attachment that allow me a little flexibility when filming. I do have a larger tripod, that is mostly used at home and only taken out on rare occasions when I have something particular in mind. The Videos are edited using Nero Video
