They are promptly greeted by seven creatures who call themselves Digimon, as well as the children's chosen partners. They are soon attacked by a Kuwagamon and attempt to hide in the forest. When the group is finally cornered on the edge of a cliff, the creatures Digivolve to defend themselves and their partners.
