On December 24, 2022, at 3:40 p.m., Andrew Ramos, of Los Angeles, was crossing Huntington Drive on Kendall Avenue in a marked crosswalk with his dog. Before reaching the midpoint of the crosswalk, Andrew was struck by a green Toyota Tundra making a left turn southbound from Alhambra Road onto Huntington Drive. After striking Andrew, the driver failed to stop to render aid and identify him or herself. The Toyota Tundra is from 2007 to 2013, has custom wheels, running boards and bed cover. Andrew, who is a high-functioning autistic adult, suffered a broken leg that required surgery. He is currently recovering at home. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members that who provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
