Perhaps the only thing I find more impressive than the fact that this took nearly 7 years to complete is the fact that this was done just a few days after King's Fall came out in D2 and Golgoroth was soloed there recently... The PDR strat was known to be able to get you to a damage phase for a few months now but people thought survivability was simply too much of an issue to work around. But it's nice to see this challenge being completed nonetheless! As a basic strat overview here, I am going for around 12-13 damage phases (13 in this case). I am using Arc Flux Grenade to generate a ton of special ammo off of the first Thrall, and that is very important since these are the only enemies I am killing in the entire run. What makes this challenge so tight is the fact that you wouldn't be able to kill him in any less than around 10-11 phases, meaning that you need to get to a damage phase every ~50 seconds maximum, given that the encounter is only 10 minutes and 30 seconds long. This means I will need to go for damage phase immediately after the previous phase is over, which gives me no time at all to kill adds. I am using Invisibility to sneak behind Golgoroth, as it's considerably easier to shoot his gaze spot when his back is turned to you. Then I down orb with my Corrective Measure and I perform a PDR. PDR doesn't count as a death so Golgoroth's chest remains open meaning you can do full damage to his chest. I am also jumping to avoid the adds, without jumping they would destroy me. Since in air accuracy in this game isn't perfect I sadly missed a few bullets, but luckily the damage was just enough to get the kill here :)
