Early on, the evidence seemed strong: Johnson won reelection with a razor-thin majority, kept the government open, and pushed through a massive domestic spending bill 🏛️. But the second half of the year told a very different story — a prolonged government shutdown, repeated discharge petitions that bypassed leadership, internal GOP revolts, and growing frustration over his deference to Donald Trump 📉. The lesson? Politics is a long game. I called the winner way too early 🕰️.
