Episode 11 of the Unoriginal Music Project Volume 2: Gospel. This one is by one of my all-time favorite bands, the Mountain Goats. John Darnielle is one of those songwriters who is so great that you almost think what's the point in trying to write songs. But at the same time, he's so inspiring and he seems like such an awesome guy (based on meeting him for like 2 minutes at a show and his very active online presence on Twitter and Tumblr) that on the other hand, you do want to keep writing. And this song is only the tiniest sliver of the incredible songs that he has written.
