The world has been on edge in anticipation of Israel's revenge attack against Iran for firing about 200 ballistic missiles into the heart of Israel on October 1, 2024. While the attack miraculously harmed zero Israelis, it did actually kill a Palestinian man in the West Bank and about 10 Iranian people inside of Iran when a faulty missile fell on their heads. Just a few hours ago an Iranian oil tanker, located on the waters next to the Khzestan Province in Iran smashed into the Pars Petro Shushtar refinery, according to Iranian state media. Iranian state media, citing the governor of Shushtar town, said "the fire is under control, but firefighters and rescue workers remain on alert at the scene." A local authority attributed the cause of the incident "to a tanker collision with gasoline tanks" and said the incident is under investigation. A local official in Iran's southwestern province of Khuzestan told state news agency IRNA that several people were also injured. Israel was clear that this their attack would confuse the Iranians and that "they would have no idea what happened". This appears to fit that to a T. It does seem like Israel was able to make an Iranian oil tanker crash into an oil refinery causing it to explode. You gotta hand it to Israel, if you hate them or love them, they are doing some pure James Bond maneuvers.
