White Tara, known in Tibetan as Drolkar སྒྲོལ་དཀར། (or Dolma Karpo) is the female Bodhisattva of compassionate activity, the supreme mother and collective manifestation of the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas. She is said to see all suffering and respond to requests for help. She is the goddess of health, healing and longevity in Buddhism, radiates the undifferentiated truth of the Dharma with her pure whiteness. Seated in a meditative diamond lotus position, her seven eyes one on her forehead, hands and feet, symbolize her compassionate vigilance, seeing all the world's suffering. Her right hand is in the wish granting Mudra, while her left holding a stem of the Utpala lotus flower, is in the protective Mudra. Embrace her blessing and compassionate presence. Marpa Lotsawa and Jetsun Milarepa to honor the profound spiritual legacy they gave to Tibetan Buddhism and the Kagyu lineage. Marpa represents the pure transmission of authentic teaching (especially Mahamudra and Tantra) from India to Tibet, showing the importance of discipline, responsibility and unbroken lineage, while Milarepa embodies sincere practice, repentance and complete realization. Their guru-disciple relationship demonstrates how deep devotion, hardship and perseverance on the path can transform even the heaviest negative karma into enlightenment within one lifetime. By commemoration their anniversary, practitioners renew their faith in the Dharma, accumulate merit, purify obstacles and remind themselves that genuine liberation is possible for all beings through correct guidance and dedicated practice. Jangchub Choeling Monastery (JCM) celebrating Marpa Lotsawa and Jetsun Milarepa anniversary ever year.
