Ever wondered the musical history of Alice Glass and Ethan Kath, prior to their involvement in Crystal Castles? Well Beppo decided to make a video about it! Crystal Castles. One of the most legendary, yet controversial groups, in the 2000s underground electronic scene; many either love Ethan Kath for his legendary production skills, or hate him for the sexual abuse allegations levied against him. No matter the truth, there is one thing for certain: he and Alice Glass made history over the course of their time in Crystal Castles. Also Edith for a period of time. But what preceded the events in the scope of the group? What caused these individuals to become the artists we know and love? And how can I possibly milk more content out of my most viewed video? Well I’m gonna tell you some real stuff. I’m gonna give all available information, including from sources known by few. I’m gonna tell you all about Death Frick and Ethan Deth. Yeah, with one e. And, after all, who’s better to talk about such a topic than the internet’s least favorite cartoon girl? If the allegations discussed in the latter half of this video are to hold true, he is most certainly NOT a good person. Seeing the consistencies across allegations, it seems hard to believe that the multiple known sources are lying. Especially considering Kath’s life experiences, it doesn’t seem too far fetched. Whether that dissuades you from indulging in his artistic endeavors or not, is completely up to you.
