Shanghai rolls out China's first heterogeneous humanoid robot training ground

Shanghai opens China’s first humanoid robot training ground on Tuesday. Located in Shanghai’s Zhangjiang area, the 5,000-square-meter facility hosts over 100 full-sized and humanoid-like robots from top local companies. For example, in car manufacturing, humanoid robots after training are expected to aid checks on surface and gaps, where the task was labor-intensive and requires precision. By mid-year, the training ground aims to release a general dataset and framework for humanoid robots while sharing some training data to the public.
