Crushing Psychedelic Doom masters return with the new epic track 'The End Of Men'. Colorado psychedelic doom masters GREEN DRUID have warned of the perils of climate change and other hot issues with the release of a brand new song, titled "The End of Men". The Denver-based group tackle the global climate emergency and political turmoil with a crushing tune which contemplates the destruction of life as we know it if people don't work together to tackle arguably some of the biggest threats to ever face humans and our home planet. "The End of Men is a commentary on the general state of decay that our planet is currently in," comments guitarist and vocalist Graham Zander. "In recent years it has become increasingly common for people among our generation to feel an overall sense of doom. This stems from everything from the impending climate apocalypse to world politics." "The song also explores psychedelic concepts like ego death," adds Zander, a nod to which can be seen in the tripped-out visuals accompanying the hard-hitting and thought-provoking new song. Living up to the "Green" in their name, GREEN DRUID's potent message comes at a fitting time, as potentially the largest series of climate change demonstrations and events is set to take place today (Friday, September 20th) around the world, with thousands of events planned in over 150 countries. Workers and students are being called upon to participate in a Global Climate Strike, with dozens of youth-led rallies taking place across GREEN DRUID's home state of Colorado alone, ahead of next week's Climate Action Summit in New York. A year and a half on from the release of their debut album, 'Ashen Blood', GREEN DRUID have emerged from the shadows with heavy new sounds and a heavy message: "In order to cleanse the rot from our planet, we as a species need to stop thinking so inward and have a 'death of self'."
