WATCH IN HD After a nice heads up from some buddies, I set up in downtown Bryan, Texas along the Bryan Sub (or main 2 of the Navasota Sub) as soon as I heard this train departed South from Hearne. UP 1943, the "Spirit of the Union Pacific" locomotive was leading the charge with a friendly conductor waving at me as he passed. This unit is Union Pacific's way of paying homage to our troops, hence the camo- this is probably one of my favorite locomotive paint jobs. The train was the MNPEW from Bailey Yard in North Platte, Nebraska, to Englewood Yard in Houston, Texas and had an all EMD lashup. After catching the train in Bryan, I headed back home only to see it had stopped at F&B road in College Station, where I did my best to get close to the tracks and capture it from the engineer side. This was at 3:09 PM on 3-4-22. Thanks for watching! The engines were: UP 1943 EMD SD70AH "Spirit of the UP" UP 8429 EMD SD70ACe UP 8332 EMD SD70ACe
