Then inject the soft plastic into a mold which is usually made out of steel. That mold has the pattern off the part you're molding from the outside it doesn't look like much. It looks like a chunk of steel but it includes a lot of labor hours this probably has like 40 to 50 labor hours of of a skilled mold maker working on this. And when you open it up that's when you see all the intricacies. The mold then holds the plastic and cools it down. The part then gets ejected out of the mold and it's fantastic for mass production because you can make a lot of parts in a short period of time what makes it very cost effective.
