We have finally finished all the details on the exterior of the fire station façade. This Ghostbusters HQ display has interior & furniture inspired from the classic Kenner 80's toys, Ghostbusters movies and The Real Ghostbusters animated series cartoon. This update video is #15 in the series focused on making the Spook Central Ghostbusters headquarters playset. We installed all the LED lighting on each floor. We have also installed LED color changing lights in each of the exterior windows. We are drawing inspiration for the design of this extreme DIY playhouse off the Ghostbusters filming locations. The exterior of the Firehouse building in New York, Hook & Ladder Company 8 and the interior of the Fire Station No. 23 in Los Angeles. The fire stations have been a filming location for several other shows and movies but as the home base for the Ghostbusters what better fire station could you model from for a kids playhouse. We also got a few ideas from looking over our sons Ghostbusters firehouse Playmobil set and the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters images online, wish we had that! Other inspirations for ideas came from the Ghostbusters video game and The Real Ghostbusters animated TV series cartoon.
