Quick to set up and simple to adjust, the Continuum Weight Distribution Hitch is B&W's answer to easily achieving proper weight distribution across your tow vehicle and trailer. Just connect the bar assembly, turn a nob, pump it up, and hit the road. -------------------------- This animation shows an initial setup method for the Continuum Weight Distribution Hitch. Once you've achieved proper load restoration, simply note the reading on the pressure gauge for future trips with that tow vehicle, trailer, and trailer load combination. Before trying our method, consult your vehicle's user manual for instructions on how to properly set up and adjust a weight distribution hitch. If your vehicle's manufacturer does not provide specific recommendations, refer to the four steps listed in your Continuum Weight Distribution Hitch Installation documents. Link below. B&W recommends a Front Axle Load Restoration (FALR) between 50% and 100%. Each towing configuration will require a different amount of pressure to be used. If your trailer load, tow vehicle, or trailer change, repeat any initial setup procedures and record the new load pressure on the gauge to help ensure proper weight distribution every time you tow.
