Vikos Gorge is a spectacular trail in northwestern Greece, in the UNESCO-listed Zagori area. Zagori is a large cluster of mountains and 48 stone-built villages. Vikos Gorge is located between two of them, Monodendri and Vikos. It took us about 7 hours to cross the gorge with a few stops for snacks and a larger break at the gorgeous but freezing-cold Voidomatis Springs.
