Dad and I wanted to avoid the crowds on a Saturday, so we decided to do a slightly more difficult float from a shuttling perspective. But we knew it would be worth it without having to put up with other fishermen. The lack of competition was definitely helpful, we managed to catch upward of 20 fish a piece. I caught smallmouth using multiple methods but the most notable fish I managed to catch on video was caught using a topwater lure. I didn't catch my biggest fish of the day while videoing but being able to get good GoPro footage of a smallmouth crushing a topwater lure was so worth it!
