Before I continue, here is a long overdue vlog of me in Haiti spring of 2018. I went to go surprise my mother who was there for a wedding & hadn't been to the homeland in well over 25 years❗️What better time for me to surprise her and spend time together with her in Haiti as an adult. There will be a part 2. I will go into greater detail in future vlog episodes, but the main narrative of this is to show the world what mainstream media doesn't want or care to show of Haiti (& i know why... i'll get into that later) & that is first the natural beauty it possesses. The people may be economically poor, but they are rich in other aspects of life. It also is home to great, charismatic, artistic, brave & some of the most resilient people on earth. It's home to GREAT food, music, art, dance, culture. Almost everybody who's a foreigner that I've seen visit Haiti end up falling in love with the nation. It's aura and sprit captures you. It's hard to show over a vlog but i'll try my best & hopefully one day you can go see for yourself! Do something different this year or next time you plan a trip. Many already do the "typical" Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, PR, DR, Turks&Caicos, etc... (all great places as well, respectively), but many have already been there and you see them all over the gram represented well. Think of Haiti if you're looking for adventure. It's history, people, culture, food, music should be highlighted & respected. It's a shame there isn't much tourism yet, but im here to help. contact me, pay my flight or accommodations & i'll go with you.
