Humanity Matters More. explores how artificial intelligence is already shaping attention, identity, emotional regulation, and agency—often invisibly. This session reframes AI not as something to fear or idolize, but as a force that stress-tests our most essential human capacities. Through a warm, practical, and hopeful lens, participants examine why social-emotional learning is foundational to responsible AI use and how teaching pause, discernment, and sensemaking helps humans stay firmly in the driver’s seat. The focus is not less technology, but more intentional humanity—so innovation and human well-being grow together. Speaker bio: Holly Kelly is an educational leader, speaker, and consultant focused on the intersection of social-emotional learning, artificial intelligence, and human-centered leadership. She serves as Director of Innovation and School Improvement for ROE 39 and Area IV SEL Coordinator in Illinois, while also leading NeuralBridge, LLC. Holly works with educators, administrators, and communities to navigate emerging technologies with clarity, ethics, and care. Known for her engaging, hopeful style, she helps schools strengthen agency, discernment, and well-being in an AI-saturated world. Her work centers on a simple belief: technology may move fast, but humanity must always lead.
