Davidoff claims that the development of this cigar is the longest amount of time their master blender Henke Kelner has ever spent developing a cigar. This cigar was introduced in 2010 and is still very desirable today. As of the time of this video, these cigars are pretty much sold out just about everywhere. You can find them online, but they are not available in abundance. I'm not sure if this is a marketing strategy to create demand for this cigar, similar to Arturo Fuente with Opus X, or this is simply a very high demand product that can only be cultivated only so much per year. Either way, I have not smoked this cigar yet. I did find the wrapper appealing, that dark chocolate color definitely drew my attention the moment I first saw it. Add the gold band to that and we have a winner. I was instantly sold. I needed a box immediately. But I couldn't find an entire box so I had to settle for this sample.
