SumBodyArt's Beautiful Life from Death is a semi camouflage collaboration with Hamburg Street Art Artist Toiz for the Open Day for the Street Art School Hamburg. The concept of Beautiful Life from Death is a personal one for me. Almost 2.5 years ago, I had a near death experience when I was giving birth to my little girl. There were moments, where I saw my life passed me by in fast forward, I saw myself laying there with my husband and the midwives on the hospital bed. I even felt the warmth of God and saw bright lights, it was all very surreal and strange. I then felt the breathe of my daughter, the pulse of her heart beat. Then I was given two choices by God, either to live on as my daughter or to reborn again and live as me but with a better sense of purpose with love. I chose to live, and 2.5 years on. I have my beautiful daughter by my side and as a result, I try to do more of what I love in my live, which is creating art and being creative with my life. This BodyArt reflects the near death experience that I had, and from the death, something beautiful was awakened inside of me. I became a stronger person and I am learning to appreciate and love the important things in life more.
