So, here it is. Quick context is that Al Bundy (the father on the phone) is always down on his luck as just some poor women's shoe salesman who was once a great high school football hero, and the family is perpetually poor, so he always jumps at a the slightest opportunity for money, which his daughter Kelly could be about to give here in marrying this rich owner of a business conglomerate.
