In Episode 4, we finally do what we said we were going to do… We take the 3 business ideas we narrowed down last week and break them down properly — the pros, the cons, what it would cost, how we’d price it, how we’d get clients, and whether it even makes sense in Ontario right now. The three businesses on the table: 1) “Airbnb Buddy” A subscription-style service for short-term rental hosts: turnovers, restocking, guest comms, listing optimization, even “property checkups.” But… are there enough Airbnbs in Hamilton/Durham to support it? And do the regulations kill the whole thing? 2) Non-PSW Home Care / Companion Services (“Forever Young”) Helping seniors with the stuff government care usually doesn’t cover — companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, rides to appointments, and family updates. Big demand… but hiring, vetting, and delivering a premium experience is everything. 3) Youth Rec Ball Hockey League (the wildcard replacement) Low overhead, super scalable, and actually fun to run — but does it turn into an admin nightmare, or is it a clean cash-flow community business with sponsorship upside? Next episode… we pick one. And once we pick, it’s go-time: branding, landing page, outreach, pricing, and getting our first paying client. 👇 Comment below: Which one wins?
