He accused him and his cronies of bribery, extortion, and sexual harassment of women officers. Sharma directly accuses Kumar of being a deeply corrupt officer. He alleged that Kumar orchestrated a 'Rs 50 crore deal's to get an individual named Rao Inderjit released from a case. He further claimed Kumar accepted a substantial bribe in a murder case. According to Sharma, Kumar manipulated the system through 'caste politics'. He systematically removed certain officers to install his own hand-picked, corrupt team. Furthermore, Sharma alleged that these cronies sexually harassed women officers, threatening them with transfers. He said Kumar only took his own life after realising the investigation would expose his family members, whom Sharma also described as corrupt. "These people blocked files, called petitioners and mentally tortured them by asking for money. Women police personnel were sexually exploited in exchange for transfers. Roots of his corruption run very deep. He has committed suicide fearing the complaint against him. Their assets must be probed. This is not a caste issue. Truth must come out.
