The University of St. Martin (USM) is proud to support research and regional collaboration that strengthens climate resilience in the Dutch Caribbean. This video highlights the launch of the Climate Adaptation Options Database, developed under the International Panel on Deltas, Coastal Areas, and Islands (IPDC) programme. The database supports Aruba, Curaçao, and St. Martin by providing practical, island-relevant adaptation options to inform transparent and evidence-based climate action. The project was led by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and co-developed in collaboration with the University of Curaçao, the University of Aruba, the University of St. Martin, and regional and international knowledge partners. Its development was informed by local stakeholder engagement across the islands and is integrated into the Climate Impact Atlases for the Dutch Caribbean. Through research, education, and partnership, USM remains committed to advancing knowledge that supports sustainable development and climate resilience in the region.
