ACI Marina Split, with two yacht clubs, protected by a strong rock breakwater from south winds and rough seas, offers a magnificent view of Split and its historical center-the Diocletian's Palace. It is in the ACI Marina Split that Split-Lungomare begins; the longest and, of course, one of the most beautiful embankments in the Adriatic. ACI Marina Split was awarded the "Tourist Flower - Quality of Croatia" award for third place in 2017 in the category of the best medium-sized marina for yachts on the Adriatic, and in 2017 received the award for second place. ACI Marina Split is also the winner of the prestigious Blue Flag Award. Approach The city port of Split is saturated with the movement of large ferries and requires special caution when approaching. Vessels leaving the port have a priority right to maneuver, which it is desirable not to violate. It is also forbidden to anchor in any part of the port, except in emergency situations. The entrance to the port is through a wide passage marked with lights and daytime markings. When approaching ACI Marina Split, the following landmarks serve as landmarks: the bell tower of St. Domnius Cathedral; Cape Sustipan and a stone monument to sailors in the form of a lighthouse, which is actually an illuminated stone obelisk (Fl(2) W 20s 54m 10M). The reception building, restaurants and workshops are also visible. As you approach the marina and the small ports to the west of it, stay closer to the beginning of the inner breakwater.
