PLEASE READ AND SHARE WIDELY!! “The Music Goes Round and Around!” Last night we did a little concert with some musicians here in Berlin. We laughed and put everything we got into each song. In front of a small audience - people who had come to listen to live Swing music once again - a last moment of joy for a undefined period of time. We have laughed and cried and we didn’t want this little concert to end. We just wanted to go on playing. What is a city without music? A country? A time? The music we love - Swing - has been the music of the Great Depression. People back then were listening to it because Swing was hope! Hope! And this is why we have decided that our music can’t die. And it won’t! We are carrying on! We will be playing Swing! Everyday! From today on! Every evening at 7pm (CET) we are going to play a half an hour Swing concert. At my home here in Berlin. Small groups with a few alternating musicians, friends who love Benny Goodman, Basie, Miller and Lunceford. You can listen to us: live on Facebook or Instagram. All musicians in our city of Berlin have lost what they most love to do: performing! And they have lost all their income too!
