In peace and conflict studies, we often speak about the conflict triangle or the ABCs of conflict, where... A 👉Attitude B 👉Behaviour and C 👉Culture... ... Come together to create the conditions for direct and indirect forms of violence. Psst - this is inward and outward forms of violence, by the way. The violence is also structural, systemic, and intergenerational. I am prepping for a workshop about how community building (deep, personal, behaviour-changing community building) can reduce these forms of violence and transform conflicts. It's good that I have some new learning about the biology of heart-brain coherence to help me reflect on the Reyou community as a case study.
