Vromoneri Beach is located on the Aegean Sea, on the southeastern coast of the Pelion peninsula in the Thessaly region of Greece, between the beaches of Vlahorema and Kastri. It is located 64 km (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by car) from Volos, the main city in the area, and 5 km (10 minutes by car) from Katigiorgis, the nearest village. Vromoneri Beach can be reached either by boat, by sea, or by car, with a winding paved road ending in a small parking lot next to the beach. Vromoneri Beach is approximately 200 m long and is composed of sand and some gravel, and the entrance to the water is smooth. The sea here has an intense turquoise color and is very clear, ideal for diving, contrary to the fact that “vromoneri” means dirty water. There are many interesting rock formations at both ends of the beach. The shore is rich in vegetation here, and Vromoeri beach offers a stunning view of the island of Skiathos, which is located opposite. Vromoeri beach is organized during the summer with sun loungers, canopies and umbrellas. Right next to the beach and the parking lot there is a tavern with traditional dishes.
