From an unexpected pit stop at Drysdale for a much-needed tyre repair to the long, bumpy journey toward the incredible Mitchell Falls, it’s an adventure from start to finish. We hitch a ride on a helicopter over the stunning four-tiered falls, then continue our journey up to Kalumburu, one of the most remote communities in Australia. After exploring the area, we soak up the serenity at Honeymoon Bay — the perfect place to unwind after days on dusty tracks. It’s amazing how remote this region feels, yet you’re never truly alone out here. Along the way we witnessed a few breakdowns and even an accident — a reminder of how tough and unpredictable this country can be. A week wasn’t nearly long enough, but we squeezed in as much as possible!
