This is a 4-deck vinyl re-work of In Effect, performed live from a fixed overhead camera. The original piano riff from In Effect runs throughout the mix as a constant reference point. Around that, additional records are layered and cut in rhythm to create new energy and movement — using multiple decks simultaneously rather than traditional long blends. Two decks are used primarily for sample hits and accents, while additional channels are brought in and out for basslines and secondary riffs using three-channel fader cutting. All timing and speed control is done directly on the vinyl using manual pitch correction — no sync, no digital correction. This mix is less about clean transitions and more about layering, timing, and controlled chaos, treating the decks and mixer as instruments rather than playback tools.
