Premium fuel tanks from RestoParts® are now available and ready for shipment! Choose from Galvanized, Ni-Terne, or Stainless steel. Each reproduction fuel tank features the lock ring and gasket for installation of the fuel sending unit. Tanks also feature the necessary vent and return line connections as well as the filler neck where specified. Rather than arc welding which can become brittle and subject to premature cracking, our RestoParts® tanks are manufactured using superior methods for increased strength and durability. These methods are able to withstand constant road vibrations without fears of cracking or leaking. Galvanized Tanks feature a double-sided Zinc coating for corrosion resistance. All seams and components are copper brazed for increased strength and durability, while a powder coated finish is applied to each brazing area as an added layer of protection. Ni-Terne Steel or Terne-Sheet Tanks feature a double-sided zinc-tin alloy coating for superior resistance to rust and corrosion. Featuring added shine, these tanks are soldered with Tin to reduce or eliminate the possibility of cracks and leaks found in other tanks. Stainless Steel Tanks are stamped to factory specifications using 304 Stainless Steel sheet and these provide the ultimate in appearance and corrosion resistance.
