Making Melt and Pour Soaps Recipe Make Lavender melt and pour Goats Milk soap Hey Guys, today I am making Lavender melt and pour soaps and lavender loofa soaps, but you can mix it up and make what ever type you like, It all depends what pure essential oils you have and what you have growing in your garden or what you can forage or purchase. I like making orange, lemon, eucalyptus, coffee, rose and charcoal - separately, not all mixed together, but hey, that may even work out beautifully, that's the fun part about making melt and pour soaps or soap making in general, it is creative and you can have fun with it. #meltandpoursoap GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES Heavy base saucepan, only for soap making (second hand stores, the back of your cupboard, online 2nd hand or garage/yard sales are a good place to find one) Ladle Chopping Board Silicone Moulds or other Soap Moulds Knife 1KG Melt and Pour Soap Base (I'm using Creamy Goats Milk Melt and Pour base, purchased off ebay) Dehydrated Lavender Flowers Pure Essential Lavender Oil (approximately 40- 80 drops, but I go by scent more than counting the drops, as oils are variable to preference) Loofa Method Prepare and cut loofa, place in moulds Slowly heat the Melt and Pour soap in the saucepan until melted Remove from heat and add essential oils, mix Ladle soap mix into the moulds Decorate the soap with the Lavender flowers Let the Soaps completely set and remove from moulds. Now they are ready to wrap and give as gifts or use yourself.
