Kreg K4 Pocket Hole Jig Station (Scrap Wood Project)

#KreggPocketHoleJig #PocketHoleStation #Downdrafttable #woodworking #scrapwoodbuilds #dustcollection #brattonbuilt This Kreg pocket hole jig station is a super quick scrap wood build that complements the downdraft table. Link to the Outfeed Downdraft Table:    • Table Saw Outfeed & Downdraft Sanding...   This little cross makes it easier to drill pocket holes with your Kreg K4 because it has wings on either side of the Kreg jig station, which help support boards by keeping them from teetering while drilling. I also added two separate small blocks that are the same height that are used for larger boards. Additionally, drilling on top of the downdraft table adds dust collection to your drilling making for a much cleaner shop! EVERYTHING USED: K4 Kregg Pocket Hole Jig 14″ long x 9″wide 3/4″ plywood (Wider would give more support) Titebond 2 Wood Glue Salt Wen Brad Nailer Brad Nails Sander & Sand Paper (4) 1 1/4″ Wood Screws DIRECTIONS FOR KREG POCKET HOLE JIG STATION For better direction with pictures go to my website: https://brattonbuilt.com/kregg-pocket... Pull out a scrap piece of 3/4″ plywood and set your Kreg pocket hole jig on top. Outline where to make your cuts. I chose to make the wings about three inches wide. Use a jig saw to cut out a plywood cross piece. Attach the Kreg K4 Pocket Hole Jig to the plywood cross with 1 1/4" screws. Cut four small pieces of 1/2″ plywood for the wings. Attach the two pieces on each side using glue, salt(optional), and brad nails. Sand the sharp corners of your pocket hole station. Badda Bing! You are now a pocket hole rock star with your Kreg pocket hole jig station! BONUS: Thought about making a holder for this jig to hang it up on the french cleat wall. But it didn’t need one. Hangs great on it’s own!
