Music and Architecture: Form through music: Dynamic Surface/facade. As an attempt to work on my idea of generating form out of symphony music, various possible options were explored with an undergraduate-level knowledge of the software as well as parametricism. As one of my objectives, I have described in my thesis statement it was a quest to understand how a theory or a narrative can be amalgamated with parametricism. In all of the shown exploration, Beethoven’s 5th symphony was played and recorded in real-time with the help of the firefly plugin for grasshopper and points were generated according to the volume and wave pressure sample from the left and the right channel.
