Kukishinden Ryū Happō Biken Dakentaijutsu 九鬼神伝流八方秘鍵打拳体術 Sabaki Gata (handling or angling forms) 捌き型 This video is not a demonstration. It is a recording of instruction done in class for students. The techniques are from Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (武神館 武道 体術). The Bujinkan consists of 9 traditional Japanese martial arts taught by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. The 9 schools are: • Togakure-ryū Ninpō Taijutsu (戸隠流忍法体術) • Gyokushin-ryū Ryū Ninpō (玉心流忍法) • Kumogakure Ryū Ninpō (雲隠流忍法) • Koto Ryū Koppō jutsu (虎倒流骨法術) • Gyokko-ryū Kosshi jutsu (玉虎流骨指術) • Kuki Shinden Happō Bikenjutsu (九鬼神伝流八法秘剣術) • Shinden Fudo Ryū Dakentai jutsu (神伝不動流打拳体術) • Takagi Yoshin Ryū Jūtai jutsu (高木揚心流柔体術) • Gikan Ryū Koppō jutsu (義鑑流骨法術) Techniques for these schools fall into 5 major categories. Koppojutsu (骨法術), Kosshijutsu (骨指術), Jutaijutsu (柔体術), Dakentaijutsu (打拳体術) and Ninjutsu (忍術). These techniques are not for competition. They consist of unarmed techniques used for hand to hand combat. There are also weapon techniques which include but not limited to Bo, Jo, Hanbo, Yari/spear, Naginata, Swords (Katana, Shoto, Wakazashi), Knives/Tanto, Kusarifundo, Shuriken, Kyoketsu Shoge, Ninjato, Jutte, and firearms. Training martial arts is inherently dangerous. No one should attempt these techniques without the supervision of a certified instructor. Perform these at your own risk. Contact information: [email protected] (210) 275-6503 Facebook: Bujinkan Tetsushin Alamo Dojo Please note: These are my interpretations of the techniques from extensively looking at many sources over the last 30 years and may be different from what you have otherwise seen. This video was done of class so that students would not have to take notes during class. The techniques are done slowly to show how to take balance and make the techniques work without needing speed and power. I post these links to my Facebook group page Bujinkan Tetsushin Alamo Dojo for my students. The video and audio are not high quality. Please leave constructive criticism.
