(Alternate History) Himmler ordered the SS to detain Albert Einstein before he can egress from Nazi Germany to the United States.. Holding his family for ransom, Einstein is forced to work with nazi scientists during hardwater experiments in Norway in 1941... this in March 1945 has brought Hitler the "wonder-weapon" that he needed to reverse the fate of the Fatherland. The Atomic bomb yet untested, will work in theory, hopefully to knock Stalins' armies to their knees & incinerate the communist hoarde.. "Project Loki" is drawn up in the Fuhrer bunker amidst the ruins of Berlin.. It is March 1945 & the end of the Reich is imminent.. However in an underground laboratory the enriched uranium & plutonium is used to construct 6 Atomic devices... On the outskirts of Berlin, Russian artillery can be heard in the distance... The SS Scientific Weapons Corp deploys an Atomic device in a small village held by a Wermacht defence force that is in the path of several russian guards tank & infantry divisions.. The russian assault begins before the SS Scientists can fully assemble the unit.. a lone Wermacht armoured car on the bridge is the only thing seperating the russian attack from the unprepared German scientists... a T34 comes within 1000 yards of the scientists & opens fire... In an act of self-sacrifice for the Reich, Scientist Hans Adler removes the safety pin acctuates the electronic firing trigger manually just as a T34 opens fires... The result is devastating, the Atomic device is detonated sending a tower of flame billowing into the stratosphere, the town is levelled, russian tanks are blown to shreds as are russian soldiers... within a few short minutes 3 divisions of Marshal Zhukovs' Berlin assault force are torn apart like rags & left upon the field in flames.. "Project Loki" is an epic German success, the results are wired back to Berlin to the Fuhrers' tearful delight.. Production of the devices have been given top priority over all other production in Germany.. The remaning five devices are fitted into V2 Rockets, two are fired into russian defenses in Poland, one is fired into London, England.. & the other two are fired at U.S. 3rd armoured division where General George S. Patton lost his life in the early morning undetected launch.. The United States is still 6 months away from testing such a device... With unspeakable collateral damage already done & being in range of other Atomic V2 attacks; Winston Churchill announces that England is breaking the Alliance with the Allied powers & is seeking a seperate peace.. Stunned Americans at home are appalled by the lost of life that this new nazi superweapon has & can claim, are appealing to the White House to pull out of Europe... Stalin has not bent however, putting russian factories into over capacity & calling upon Siberian reinforcements.. He plans to overrun Germany by pure force.. knowing this Germany is concentrating V2 rocket bases east of Berlin, with the western front dismantled, Germany rebuilds from the west to the east, the war between germany & russia continues.. Russia is eventually subjicated after the mobile V2 rocket launches become available.. The United States enters a non-aggession pact with the Axis powers & pulls out of the Pacific as well... The cold war between the free world & the slave world is on..
