QUICKEST 2.0 MQB MK7 GOLF R IN THE WORLD - 9.34 @ 150MPH

The Ecotune team were at Santa Pod Raceway for a private test day, run by the VWDRC guys, and they were there to break records. This Mk7 Golf R, which is still running the 2.0 MQB engine and the DQ250 gearbox, has been in a constant state of tune, and has ran the following times. Std Turbo - 10.72 @ 126mph (not sure what the record is) Hybrid Turbo - 9.89 @ 139mph (World Record) and now with a built engine, and larger Garrett turbo - 9.34 @ 150mph, which is a new World Record. What is next? Maybe a DQ381, or DQ500 box......watch this space.
