The eastern shores where Opus and Alponos once stood guard of the seas is where Kassandra visits in this video. Opus was the main city, famed for its aiding to Spartans. Alponos was the first founded Locrian village; its port a strategic base during the Persian wars. This region is rich with salt, a magical substance in ancient Greek culture. They used it in their rituals, offerings, and festivals. Due to the harsh geographical constraints, rather than excavating in the ground, extracting salt from water was a more common practice in those times.
